The hiring process reflects a company’s culture. Candidates are judging opportunities by how streamlined and transparent processes are. You can give yourself a huge advantage by planning the interview process before you start to meet candidates, and telling candidates what to expect from day one. Ever go through final rounds of interviews only to learn there’s just one more person you need to meet, and then another? One more thing: Keep candidates in the loop, especially those who are eliminated from the process. This will help build your reputation in the industry. #BeDistinguished
